A few things to address...

Number One: Chuck. First of all, quit writing posts only vaguely relating to American Idol. If you're not going to watch the show, get off the blog. Start watching, and maybe then we'll take your scathing posts more seriously. Number Two: Chuck's views on JLO. Fine, with all that evidence, she probably is a diva and a bitch. My thoughts on that? I. dont. care. So how's that? I like her. I like her as an actress, I like her as a singer, and I like her as a judge. As I said to you via text, I'd probably hate 98% of celebrities if I really knew them in real life. All I ask from celebs is that they entertain me. I don't care who they really are, what their political or religious views are, if they're gay or straight, if they're mean, nice, weird, etc. Now, I do have some celebs I hate for my own reasons that probably contradict everything I just said, and everyone is entitled to that. You obviously hate Jennifer Lopez, which is fine. Doesn't shock me, really. Her music is so far from your taste that it isn't even funny. But she HAS had a successful career, whether you think it's justified or not. Although, that "all white" thing in her room is so asinine it may have actually knocked her down a few points in my book. Anyway, I think your rant has fallen on deaf ears because I have a feeling Di, Danae, and mom are all going to be on my page. Start watching the show, then write all the scathing posts you want. Preferably about Thia Megia. Number 3: Casey's Save. Finally, we see the reason behind the Save option! What a shame it would have been if he had gone home. I see people breaking their necks to vote for him in the future to prevent such injustice from occurring again. I don't know if I had it quite to a Daughtry level (still not over that) but it was close. Number 4: Thia. If she doesn't go home next week, I may cry. She's turned into my most hated person.

  1. I did watch the show, dork. My comments were in the comment section and that's because I was trying to type it out on my phone and it doesn't always work right and I can't type fast enough on it.

As for the JLO talk, I wasn't expecting to sway anyone's opinion. For one thing its true, who really cares what these people are like in real life. For another thing, people who like her are going to cling to her and get defensive of her pretty much no matter what is said. I get that, and it's fine. As I said, I don't even hate her, I kind of like her if I'm in the right mood in fact.

As for her "success"... it depends how you define successful. She's made alot of money and gotten very famous, so she's been very successful in that regard. But a string of albums that flopped and a string of movies that tanked bigtime, going on a six year stretch of failed projects, you'd have NO CHOICE but to call her at best a has-been. She certainly hasn't succeeded lately.

  2. Then you'd have to call Steven Tyler a has-been too. Not that I'm comparing JLOs success to his. I'm just saying. And she actually has a song out right now that is on itunes top ten. That's pretty successful. Although I'll admit, it's mediocre at best. I'm sure you'd really hate it, it's not your style. But still. And I liked a lot of her movies... Selena, The Wedding Planner, Enough... not exactly Oscar winners, but entertaining and well known movies. Gigli was obvi asinine, but lots of actors have a few ridiculous movies they've done.
And I saw that you had in fact watched the show... didn't you see my apology post? Lol.

  3. Sadly, Steven Tyler is a has been. I said that last week, I think it's very sad what's happened to his career. He was ON TOP for a very long time, a very very long time in fact. Aerosmith went badly downhill... it's really very sad. He is a has-been. He could resurrect himself if he can stay off drugs.

  4. Mel, you explained my feelings on the JLO topic PERFECTLY. I just didn't feel like spending that much time explaining myself.lol.

I REALLY don't think we can describe Steven Tyler as a "has been". As a hard rocker, how long do you think it's going? At some point it'd just plain be pathetic and stupid. Although, I think if he was so inclined, he could do anything he liked. He is that well liked by the public and I think he'd be supported in it.
